How we source data
How we gather data
We read public tournament results and community databases (listed below) and combine records that refer to the same player. For every fact we store which source stated it and when we saw it.
We only publish a player's public competitive record: tags, aliases, the country a source states, and results. We do not publish personal data such as addresses, phone numbers or private accounts.
Publish first, flag always
We publish what sources state as soon as we find it instead of waiting for manual checks. Anything uncertain is published with a clear label and a review flag. Nothing is hidden.
When sources disagree we show what each one states and mark the item for review. If something is wrong, you can ask us to correct or remove it.
Confidence levels
- Confirmed
- Two or more independent sources agree.
- Probable
- Strong evidence, but not yet independently confirmed.
- Single source
- Stated by one source only.
- Unverified
- Published as found; not yet checked against another source.
